We are a group of first-year law students from the University of Malaya organising a charity event called HOPE which means Helping Out Plus Education. We aim to provide financial, spiritual, and social assistance for children from different backgrounds, in the refugee community. We HOPE to improve the lives of these children and to educate them with the public about basic human rights. We always welcome large contributions as we serve children in the community and trust us, even the smallest contribution goes a long way. Each and every contribution would make this possible. As a token of appreciation, donations of RM20 and above will be awarded a collar pin with an E-certificate. For those who donated below RM20, an E-certificate will also be awarded. Each contribution is crucial to help those children to get over this difficult time. For those who donate, thank you so much for your thoughtful donation. Giving is not just about making a donation, but it is about making a difference.

The rewards for the donations of RM20 and below will get an E-Certificate, for the donations of RM20 and above will get a collar pin for free with an E-Certificate, for the donations of RM40 and above will get two collar pins for free with an E-Certificate, last but not least the donations of RM100 and above will be getting five collar pins for free with an E-Certificate! However, please note that the collar pins are limited and only 100 pins will be distributed. These 100 pins are shared across all the categories. Once the 100 pins are all distributed, we will no longer be adding rewards.

The reasons for using this platform is to raise funds for refugee students who are in need of help in terms of education and monetary aspects. We are law students from the University of Malaya and with that, we are trying to educate these children in knowledge such as consented touch and basic human rights. However, a massive issue faced by the students is that they do not have access to the latest technologies like projectors which are essential for us to conduct these classes.

Apart from that, the students are also in need of necessities, therefore a part of the donations are also allocated to food items.  Also by using mystartr we are aiming to reach a wider audience which will help donate and contribute to our project in helping these children. Due to the covid-19 situation, we are restricted to physical donations and can only limit ourselves to this platform.

Therefore we urge the public to donate to us as it will bring massive impact the refugee students in need.
